The first year, the summer internships, and the second year phases. The first few months will be spent trying to find and establish your place amongst the large crowd. Right when you get the hang of it, and finally begin to enjoy the experience to the fullest, that is when the summer internships come up. It\u2019s back to square one again in a novel and maybe a more demanding environment. When you\u2019re back on campus for your second year, it will be like you\u2019re back at your own home again. You\u2019re familiar with everything and the challenges of your first year, don\u2019t seem to be much of a challenge anymore. Except for the final placement process that is. The in-house canteen will be the place where you would gather for random discussions of anything and everything.<\/p>\n<p>The committee experience will be another big part of your life. During the first year, you will constantly try to prove that you deserve to be a member of the team. Once you get through to the next year though you will have a better time. Even if you were not a member of any committee, you can still benefit from the various events and activities organized by the different committees on campus. The celebrations held at NITIE (IIM Mumbai) during Holi or other festivals are on a whole other level. Placements can be stimulating too, though these stimulations tend to move from one end of the spectrum to the next. You will worry one moment and be relieved the next.
