Still, in its infancy, the institute operates from the Old University Campus in Jammu. A 200-acre permanent campus is coming up in Jagati, 14 km away from Jammu city. The institute has shown steady growth over the years. The highest recorded CTC for the 2023 final placements was INR 64 LPA. IIM Jammu has certainly come a long way since its inception. A student-driven institute, the Student Council manages all the activities and needs of the students. The other campus committees are the Placement Committee, Sports Committee, Academic Committee, Alumni Committee, IT Committee, and Mess Committee. Rajinder Park offers a serene environment to relax. Leisure walks around the park while feasting your eyes on the rich flora and fauna will be just what you need when you are overwhelmed with assignments, projects, and placement activities. The Shri Ranbireshwar Temple is a sacred destination in Jammu. That is when you will be rushing to the mess to get a quick bite of breakfast before you have to report for the first session at 8:30 am. Classes can go on till 4:00 in the evening, with both lunch and refreshment breaks in between. How you spend your evenings and nights is entirely up to you. Generally, the trend is that you will first work on your assignments, projects, and readings and then once you are done with as much as you can for the day, you&#8217;ll move on to the sports grounds. One is the <em>Full-Time PhD program<\/em> and the other is the <em>PhD program for Working Professionals<\/em> which is a blended part-time program. The minimum eligibility criteria require that candidates have at least three years of work experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Fellowship Details:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>1st and 2nd Year:<\/em> INR 35,000\/month<\/p>\n<p><em>3rd and 4th Year:<\/em> INR 40,000\/month<\/p>\n<p><em>Contingency Grant:<\/em> INR 40,000\/year<\/p>\n<p><em>Laptop Purchase:<\/em> INR 50,000 (one-time)<\/p>\n<p><em>Attending Conferences:<\/em> Up to INR 2,00,000<\/p>\n<p>Fellowships are only allowed for full-time research scholars. The fellowship covers academic and living expenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Executive Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IIM Jammu offers both Management Development Programs and Faculty Development Programs. The MDPs are designed to familiarize working executives with the latest best practices and concepts in management. Four different kinds of MDPs are offered by the institute:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In-Company Programs<\/li>\n<li>Open MDPs<\/li>\n<li>Sponsored MDPs<\/li>\n<li>Certificate Programs (e-MDPs)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Faculty Development Programs are specifically designed for management teachers and researchers employed in universities, management schools, colleges, and professional institutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Certificate Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) is a two-year, fully-funded, certificate program in Public Policy &amp; Management offered by the IIMs in association with MSDE. The top recruiters on campus included Amazon, Microsoft, McKinsey &amp; Company, Adani Group, Cognizant, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Zycus, EY, SBI Capital Markets, KPMG, EXL Service, Vedanta among others.<\/p>\n<p>Most roles were received from the BFSI sector (32%), followed by IT &amp; Analytics (24%), Consulting (11%), Logistics &amp; E-Commerce (9%), and Energy (6%).
