wage rates for unskilled manual workers under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) for the financial year 2024-2025, with the maximum hike of 10.56% over the current wage rate, and Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand recording the lowest raise of 3.04% each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new wage rates, notified by the Ministry of Rural Development under sub-section (1) of section 6 of MGNREGA, will become effective from April 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the wages have seen an average increase of about 7% \u2014 from the existing all-India average wage rate of Rs 267.32
