The Common Admission Test (CAT)<\/strong> is a computer-based test held in India that has a moderately fixed pattern and CAT syllabus. CAT syllabus consists of topics varying from Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR). The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) conducts this exam and uses the test for selecting students for their business administration programs.
