Well, as you can see, I did !<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And you would never believe what happened! Infact, I would never believe what happened <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was FOCUSED, so in only 30 days ( 1 month ), I had finished going through the complete Quants syllabus once. This gave me the confidence I needed to start giving mocks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From there on, I had a simple routine.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Practice VARC, QUANTS &amp; DILR everyday&#8230; and almost every 2 days give a mock. Over the course of 4 months I gave 45 full length mocks, and 25+ sectional mocks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But my mock scores kept being consistently disappointing !!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With all my effort, I could only average around 45 marks in mocks. Infact, I almost gave up the thought of good IIMs&#8230;. and 7 days before the CAT Exam, I was sure that I didn&#8217;t have what it takes.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, even through the disappointment of average scores, Vikrant Kathuria sir taught me to keep a smile on my face&#8230; and I did.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">30 days before CAT &#8211; I revisited Abhishek Leela Pandey sir&#8217;s Algebra , and Kamal Lohia sir&#8217;s basic Arithmetic sessions.. and I could finally start getting 25 marks consistently in QUANTS.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15 days before CAT &#8211; I could suddenly understand Raj Kumar Jha sir&#8217;s words, &#8220;Read carefully in LRDI, don&#8217;t go for tricks&#8230;go step by step!&#8221;, and suddenly I had CLARITY ! My LRDI marks started going above 20 marks consistently.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was a big step in the positive direction, but still not enough. My total scores averaged at 65 marks at this time, and I needed a 80 &#8211; 90 to be one of the 99%ilers.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So here&#8217;s what happened&#8230;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7 days before CAT &#8211; Average Score in Mocks &#8211; 65<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 days before CAT &#8211; Desperation, Disappointment&#8230; Mocks scores still at 65.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 days before CAT &#8211; Mock scores jump to &#8211; 90<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WHAAT???? What happened ??<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I cracked the VARC strategy !!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My consistent score of 20 in VARC became 40-45.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was such an absurd jump, I had to check myself by giving multiple sectionals and full length mocks to see if it was really something that happened, or was it a FLUKE?!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turns out, it was really a consistent 40 in VARC !<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 days before CAT !!! And my total mock score jumped to a consistent 80-90 !<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And suddenly, there was a chance I could score really well on the D-Day ! And I did !!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, anyone seeing this, don&#8217;t stop putting efforts till the LAST DAY !!
