The exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of May. As per the JEE Advanced exam pattern there will be a total of three sections and the questions will be in the form of MCQs. The computer based pen paper test will have a total of 54 questions.  Candidates can appear for the exam either in English or Hindi. The language can be changed to the preferred language during the exam. The questions in each paper are framed to test the candidate&#8217;s analytical, reasoning and comprehension skills. As mentioned above, under each subject there are four sections for both Paper 1 and 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>In section 1, the JEE Advanced question paper has four multiple choice questions are asked, where candidates need to choose one answer for each question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In section II, three statement based questions are asked with one or more than one correct answers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In section III, six questions are asked where candidates are not provided with any options. They need to type the answer, which is usually a numerical value in the designated space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In section IV, four questions are asked where candidates need to match the entries of List I with those given in List II in Paper 1&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Paper 2, under section IV, students are provided with two paragraphs and based on each paragraph, two questions are asked.
