The college provides admission to MBA candidates through its own Department of Management Studies (DoMS). Moreover, the last date to apply for IIT Kanpur MBA admission has been extended to 5th February 2025. The minimum cutoff is 80 percentile overall scored in CAT 2024, while the minimum cutoff was 91 percentile for selected candidates for GDPI at IIT Kanpur MBA. In the case of <strong>SC\/ST candidates<\/strong>, they must have obtained a minimum <strong>55% percentage in their bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/strong> Students pursuing their undergraduate can also apply and ensure that they upload their latest mark sheet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More importantly, a candidate\u2019s<strong> bachelor\u2019s degree needs a minimum of 3 years of education<\/strong>. Additionally, their 10+2 schooling or equivalent diploma must have Mathematics as their core subject. IIT Kanpur will decide the cutoff percentiles for shortlisting for personal interviews. For different categories, the cutoff percentiles differ. You can refer to the table below for different categories of candidates shortlisted based on their CAT 2024 scores.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage 3: <\/strong>Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) assessment will be conducted for all the shortlisted candidates. GD Panels will evaluate candidates for evaluation while the IIT Kanpur MBA faculty will conduct PI and evaluate the same. A composite score will be considered for the final merit list.\u00a0<br><strong>Stage 4: <\/strong>All the candidates who appeared for stage 3 will be considered for the merit list. The list will have cutoff composite scores for different categories of students. To maintain gender diversity, female candidates\u2019 scores will be inflated will be inflated by 15% or multiplied by 1.15, no matter the category.
