According to the latest NEET marking scheme, each correct answer will fetch you 4 marks in the NEET 2025 examination. If a candidate fails to answer any question, 0 marks will be given for that question. NEET 2025 has a negative marking scheme for incorrect or wrong answers. Each wrong answer will lead to the deduction of 1 mark. Each question in the NEET UG exam will have 1 unique answer. In case, 1 question has more than 1 correct answer, 4 marks will be given to those candidates who have marked one of the right options. The total marks for the NEET UG exam are 720.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEET UG exam pattern comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections. The Biology section is divided into 2 sections of Botany and Zoology. NEET question paper comprises 180 mandatory questions. These questions must be answered in 180 minutes or 3 hours. NEET exam pattern will include MCQ type questions with a single correct answer or best option. While the Physics and Chemistry sections will have 45 questions for 180 marks each, the Biology section has 90 questions with 360 marks in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
