IIT Kanpur placement report is out for Phase-1. The phase-2 report will be released soon. As per the phase-1 IIT Kanpur placement session, a total of 1109 offers were received out of which 1035 offers were accepted. A total of 250 companies visited the campus. FedEx, ICICI Bank, Texas Instruments, Shiprocket, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Databricks, BPCL, NPCI, Intel, Qualcomm, Reliance, Cars24, Meril Life, Deutsche Bank, SLB, Micron, etc are some of the top companies that participated in the placement session. Most of the students were placed in the core industries and BPCL was the top recruiter under the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) sector. A total of 28 international offers were received. As per the official reports there was an increase in the offers received by 27% as compared to the previous year placement record. A total of 579 offers were received on the opening day of phase-1 placements at IIT Kanpur. The number crossed the 1000 mark in the first week of phase 1.
