Established in 1973, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) anchored in the Silicon Valley of India, is amongst the revered holy trinity of B-schools in India. The program is divided in 6 trimesters and is loaded with numerous engaging quizzes, assignments, case studies etc. which aids students\u2019 practical knowledge<\/span><\/p>\n Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)<\/b> The Fellow Programme in Management is the globally recognized doctoral programme of IIMB committed to training individuals who will excel in their area of research by publishing quality work of international standard. It emphasizes on rigorous and inter-disciplinary research in all areas of business management and public policy, including Corporate Strategy & Policy, Decision Sciences, Economics & Social Sciences, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management, Production & Operations Management, and Public Policy.<\/span><\/p>\n Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM)<\/b> Introduced in 2002, by the Centre for Public Policy (CPP),this course integrates public policy and general management skills into a single programme. The PGPPM is packed with path-breaking insights about winning policy making and management strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM)<\/b> The PGPEM is a 22-month diploma granting programme, where participants learn from world-class faculty, while strengthening their network through collaboration with peers when they stay at the beautiful campus for some time in a week. Designed for working mid-career and senior executives, the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) is tailored to integrate real-world experience with classroom learning.<\/span><\/p>\n Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)<\/b> The EPGP is an intensive one-year, full-time programme designed specifically for professionals with remarkable track records and 4 to 12 years of work experience in a wide range of industries. There are plenty of other committees and clubs in IIM Bangalore, a few of which are mentioned underneath<\/span><\/p>\n Anveshan<\/b>: Anveshan, the adventure and mountaineering club of IIMB, helps students stay connected with nature, and enjoy a much-deserved break occasionally. The club organizes trekking and hiking expeditions, camping, rock climbing, rappelling, white water rafting, kayaking, cycling, bike trips and night safaris in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.<\/span><\/p>\n Cultural Committee: <\/b>The Student Cultural Committee (Culcom) is the pulse of campus life. Be it festivals or parties, Culcom adds color to events. \u2018Unmaad\u2019, one of the most popular cultural fests in the country, is organized by the same committee which witnesses many celebrities and singers participating every year.<\/span><\/p>\n Dress Club :<\/b> Dress Circle is the film and photography club of IIMB. Apart from organizing movies and sports event screenings, the club tries to tap the talents of individuals in short films, photography and ad films.<\/span><\/p>\n Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell<\/b> (Enl): The Enl nurtures entrepreneurial talent in the IIMB Community. It works in co-ordination with NSRCEL and has co-hosted events such as a \u2018Sharktank\u2019 to nudge students into exploring their entrepreneurial dreams. Eximius hosted by Enl is one of the biggest entrepreneurship summits that happens in India<\/span><\/p>\n Forum of Industrial Interaction (FII) : <\/b>Forum for Industrial Interaction (FII), the face of IIMB in the corporate world, is a student-run initiative. The 44-member team aims to promote interaction between academia, industry, and the government to complement and enhance learning at IIMB. Their flagship event is called vista which attracts participants from 150+ colleges and 60+ corporate enterprises<\/span><\/p>\n LitClub :<\/b>LitClub offers you an opportunity to read, reflect and review. You can borrow bestsellers and classics (no subscription fee) and you can contribute to LitClub\u2019s monthly newsletter \u2018Bits, Bytes and Bakar\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n Women in Management: <\/b>Women In Management aims at encouraging leadership in women through several activities such as talks, informal meets and mentoring. WIM not only provides them with a great opportunity to form better networks but also helps them understand the requirements that are pertinent to women in top management positions<\/span><\/p>\n Final Placement 2020 report<\/b><\/p>\n IIM Bangalore has completed the final placement process for PGP 2018-20 batch with participation from 120 recruiters from India and abroad. A total of 432 students participated in the process who received 518 offers. 3 students opted out of the placement process to pursue their own venture. As many as 216 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) were extended to students of which 149 PPOs were accepted by the students. BCG emerged as the leading recruiter with 23 offers followed by Bain and Accenture with 20 and 18 offers respectively. <\/span>
