Currently India has the numbers for the MBBS seats is 1,18,098 and apart from that there are 53,960 PG seats covering government and private medical colleges. This expansion basically aims to meet the demand more for the medical institutes and increase opportunities more for the candidates who are willing to become doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process faces temporary delay due to a CBI probe uncovering some alleged irregularities in the medical seat allocations.
