IIM calls are made on the basis of CAT scores. The general norm is that candidates with a high percentile over 95 have a better chance of securing the offers as their profile is better than those with a low CAT score. But the ground reality is slightly different. In this blog, we have provided a detailed record of the lowest percentile converts at top IIMs in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A closer look at the tables below show that even with a low CAT score, candidates have been able to convert their IIM calls into final admission offer letters. This data has been extracted from RTI reports of specific colleges to provide a realistic perspective on the real floor where the conversions happen. It is important to know the lowest percentiles at which students were able to crack IIMs. The lowest percentile convert at IIM Ahmedabad was 90 percentile in the general category. IIM Shillong\u2019s lowest percentile in the general category was higher than IIM Ahmedabad at 98 percentile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the IIMs have made calls to individuals with CAT scores as low as 82 to 97 percentile in CAT 2025. IIMs consider the overall profile of a candidate for making the PI call. These scores have been collected and presented category-wise for prospective candidates to set realistic expectations when applying for IIMs. Your 10th score, 12th score, work experience, interview performance are among other factors which decide your final admission status.
