issues.After recommendations from the Ministry of Home Affairs Committee designated 3 sites as the protest sites:<br>\u27a2 Ramlila Ground<br>\u27a2 Burari Ground<br>\u27a2 CBD Ground in Shadara<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Delhi Police will issue the revised Standard Operating Procedure to regulate the organizing of protests at newly designated sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Right to Protest:<br><\/strong>It is mentioned under <strong>Article 19(1)(a) Freedom of Speech and Expression and Article 19(1)(b) Right to assemble peacefully and without arms.<\/strong><br>These Rights are not absolute and are subject to reasonable restrictions under<strong> Article 19(2) and Article 19(3) on grounds of sovereignty and integrity of India, public order or It is established under the <strong>Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. It traces its genesis from the Paris Principles (1991) by UN General Assembly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is watchdog for the rights related to life, liberty, equality, and dignity protected and guaranteed by the Constitution of India and the International laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Composition:<\/strong> It\u2019s a multi-member body comprises of Chairperson and 5 full time members and 7 ex-officio chairpersons from other national commissions like National Commission for Scheduled Caste, National Commission for Scheduled Tribe, National Commission for Women etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Chairperson must be a retired Chief Justice of India or a judge of the Supreme Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tenure:<\/strong> 3 years or 70 years of age which ever is earlier. The members are eligible for the reappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are appointed by the President of India on the recommendations of an Appointment Committee, which comprises of 6 members:<br>\u27a2 records.<br>\u27a2 It has the power to inquire into violations suo motto or through petitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Limitations:<br><\/strong>\u27a2 Its recommendations are advisory in nature, not legally binding on the government.<br>\u27a2 It can not inquire into the cases older than 1 year from the date of occurance.<br>\u27a2 Restrictions to inquire the cases of Armed
