JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are the top engineering entrance exams for admission in top engineering institutes of India. The prominent among them are Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institute of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs). Candidates who qualify JEE Mains are eligible for admission in JEE Advanced which is the required evaluation criteria for admission in IITs. Those who qualify JEE Mains are eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs and other top engineering institutes. JEE Mains is held in two sessions and aspirants can register for both the sessions. The exam consists of three sections - Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. It is held online, except for the drawing test for admission in the B.Arch programme. The exam consists of two papers - Paper 1(for BE/B Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) and consists of MCQs and numerical based questions. Similarly, JEE Advanced consists of two papers and includes three sections similar to JEE Mains. Both the exams have negative marking for every incorrect answer marked. If you are an upcoming candidate, here is everything you need to know about JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
iQuanta is the one of the best coaching for IIT in India which provides you with in-depth video sessions covering the complete JEE course, JEE study material as well as JEE test series. Moreover, the dual pedagogy guarantees you both concept clarity and instant practice of the topics covered on the same day. Let's delve into more details about the exams and how iQuanta can boast your preparation to a much higher level.
The IIT JEE exam is one of the toughest engineering entrance examinations in the world. Every year there are lakhs of aspirants who appear for this examination but very few are able to grab prestigious seats of top IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) and the main reason is intense competition. To start preparing for IIT JEE, candidates need to prepare smart strategies across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should start with the basic understanding of the overall exam pattern for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. This exam requires proper strategy along with streamlining preparation by attempting a good amount of questions across concepts with consistent revision.
Self study works but this exam is the complete game changer when comparing its difficulty level and that's why it is considered as the toughest engineering exam. There are many students who opt for the structured and smart way to prepare concepts that come with the smart tricks, strategies to put while attempting questions of various patterns. Problem solving is one of the key factors when you are preparing for the competitive exams and later doubts arise which can easily be tackled by the top mentors when you enrol in the top JEE online coaching to streamline your overall strategy for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Students should cover basic or fundamental concepts in the beginning to prepare their base for improving problem-solving skills along with accuracy as well as speed. Start your preparation with the NCERT textbooks to understand basic concepts that reflect the importance for solving advanced level questions to structure overall preparation starting with the JEE Main as the basic eligibility criteria to step ahead with the JEE Advanced. iQuanta JEE Online Coaching covers the foundational concepts by expert mentors so that no one will leave behind for JEE Preparation and grab maximum scores in exam.
Preparing for the IIT JEE exam requires understanding of the detailed syllabus across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates have to divide the complete syllabus into sections and make a detailed study plan, important sheets that cover aligned formulas and tricks while attending iQuanta's JEE online course that helps in aligning overall preparation by expert mentors. Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry are really important subjects that require regularly attempting a good amount of questions with varied patterns to understand advanced concepts like Differentiation, Integral Calculus, Trigonometry and more with their advanced applications that relatively works for the JEE Advanced also.
Physics is a good mix of theory and application-based question solving across advanced concepts like Electromagnetism, Optics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics along with regularly revising concepts one after other to maintain consistency during JEE preparation.
Chemistry is widely divided into Physical, Organic and Inorganic which requires consistent practice of complex chemical reactions with a good understanding of period table trends that relatively works better for solving Inorganic chemistry. Covering a well structured plan across subjects helps in building confidence alongside streamlining overall performance that leads to boost scores.
Once you will cover your basic concepts along with solving advanced questions to well understand various concepts across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, candidates should analyze their performance among the test-takers to reflect the exam-like conditions and to do the same solving Previous Year Questions, mock test series and sectional tests are really helpful that aligns preparation for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations. Solving PYQs before appearing for the JEE exam helps candidates in analyzing the overall exam pattern along with understanding difficulty level and the types of questions asked in the exam.
Sectional tests work where the candidate wants to check performance across a single subject thoroughly whether it is Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. This overall strategy builds confidence before appearing for the actual exam. iQuanta has designed an amazing mock test series to help candidates check themselves with the real exam-like environment.
After covering proper mock test series, sectional tests and PYQs, it is crucial to review your weak concepts and start working on the same to avoid any hassle related to the concepts in JEE Main & JEE Advanced. iQuanta's JEE course covers concepts in a structured manner so that you will able to cover intent properly relevant to the same topics with 24*7 doubt solving support from expert mentors, AI-based mock test analysis, free webinars by toppers to align strategy which later help during the IIT JEE examination. Getting good resources and proper classes with top mentors for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics creates an overall impact to boost scores in the final exam.
