About IIM Indore IPM

The Integrated Program in Management or more popularly known as IPM was first launched by IIM Indore in 2011. The duration of the IPM program is 5 years, comprising 15 terms.  The first three years of the program mainly focus on the BBA curriculum and the last two years build their foundation in Post graduation (MBA). The IIM Indore IPM programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th Year). The program is specially designed for 12th graduates who wish to study businesses and is driven towards upskilling students with managerial and leadership prowess.

The IPM program is designed to produce contextually relevant, socially-conscious managers and leaders.

Eligibility Criteria 

For a candidate to be able to appear for IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), he/she must meet the following eligibility criteria.\

  • Age: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2000 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category
  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination.
  • Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: The candidate should have a Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category)

Selection Process 

The IIM Indore IPM program selection procedure is twofold and is based on a candidate’s overall performance in IPMAT, Personal Interview (PI) and evaluation of past academic records.

Fold 1: The interested candidates will first have to qualify for IPMAT Indore.

Fold 2: Only the candidates shortlisted through IPMAT Indore will proceed to the second stage, i.e., Personal Interview (PI) and evaluation of past academic records.

Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection and a category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS).

Note: The pre-covid selection process of IIM Indore IPM was slightly different than the existing one and was based on a candidate’s score in Aptitude exam, Written test and a Personal Interview.

Highlights and Exam Pattern

  • IPMAT Indore is conducted in online mode.
  • The duration of IPMAT Indore is 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes)

Marking Scheme: For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 4 marks.

For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Fee Structure

Note: The fee structure given below is as per the 2022-2027 batch data available on the official IIM Indore website.

  • Domestic candidates: The fees for  IIM Indore IPM  is INR 4,00,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • International candidates: The fees for IIM Indore IPM are INR 6,00,000/- per annum for the first three years.

The fee structure of IPM for the fourth and fifth years will be as per the prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management PGP fees  at IIM Indore.

Seat Availability and Reservation Policy

 Total seats available: 120

Candidates belonging to Non-Creamy ‐OBC, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and PwD categories need to produce valid Caste certificate(s) in support of their reservation category and candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to produce a valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under EWS category.
