Each section plays a crucial role in determining your overall percentile and admission prospects, making it imperative to allocate preparation time accordingly.
CAT typically features around 66 questions, distributed across the three sections.
Candidates are allotted a total of 2 hours (or 120 minutes) to complete the CAT exam. The time is further divided across the sections, allowing candidates to manage their time strategically. Each section usually receives 40 minutes.
CAT employs a scoring system where candidates earn 3 marks for every correct answer. However, for each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted as a penalty and no negative mark for TITA Questions. It's essential to strike a balance between accuracy and attempts to maximize your score effectively.
