NEET UG Counselling 2025 Registration: As per the latest news, the PwD portal for Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2025 is available up to 5 pm on 4th August 2025. The choice filling for Round 1 is extended up to 11:59 PM on 4th August 2025. Moreover, the choice locking for Round 1 will be available from 4 pm on 4th August to 11:59 pm on 4th August. NEET Counselling is a process to allocate seats to medical aspirants across India. The registration process for NEET counselling has started. The counselling will be conducted by MCC in three rounds. The MCC conducts counselling rounds for UG medical and dental courses. NEET Counselling is conducted in the online mode. MCC will hold special stray vacancy round after multiple rounds of counselling to fill up any vacant seats at central and state medical universities. Candidates are allotted medical seats on the basis of their NEET rank, preference list and the availability of medical seats. MCC shall conduct NEET counselling rounds for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. 85% state quota seats are allocated by the state authorities through NEET counselling. For AIIMS there are total 2000 seats that will be allotted during NEET counselling. There are approximately 1 Lakh+ MBBS seats in India for which the counselling for NEET is conducted.

The All-India Ayush Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will hold counselling rounds for AIQ for BSMS, BAMS, and BUMS courses under the NCISM. The AACCC also conducts counselling for AIQ BHMS seats under NCH. Candidates must register for the counselling procedure after NEET UG results are announced. NEET counselling is based on your All India Rank (AIR) 2025.
The central government also reserves 5% to 27% seats under the AIQ for central colleges such as ABVIMS, RML, VMMC and universities such as DU, BHU, AIIMS, etc. The details entered by a candidate such as their category, phone number, email ID, etc will be used for AIQ counselling. The AACCC conducts counselling for admission to AIQ seats of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homeopathy government colleges.
