If two or more aspirants secure equal marks/percentile scores in the NEET UG Result 2025, the following tie-breaking criteria will be considered:
- A candidate with higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will get preference.
- If there is still a tie, the aspirant with higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry will get preference
- If a tie still persists, aspirants with higher marks/percentile score in Physics will be preferred
- If there is still a tie, the aspirants with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects shall be preferred.
- If a tie still persists, aspirants with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will get preference.
- If there is still a tie, the aspirants with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry shall be preferred.
- If a tie still persists, aspirants with with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics will get preference
- If there is still a tie, it will be resolved through a random process under the guidance of an independent expert committee.
