IIM Shillong IPM Cut off 2025
The IIM Shillong IPM 2025 cut off marks have become a hot topic among students. These are the minimum scores needed in each IPMAT section to be considered for shortlisting. These are not fixed cutoffs but minimum thresholds you must meet.
Below is the category-wise minimum score required in each section:
IIM Shillong IPM Cut off 2025 | |||
Category | IPMAT QA (Short Answer) | IPMAT QA (MCQ) | IPMAT Verbal Ability |
General and EWS | 12 marks | 24 marks | 36 marks |
SC | 9 marks | 18 marks | 27 marks |
ST & DA | 6 marks | 12 marks | 18 marks |
Important Notes about the Cutoffs:
- IIM Shillong does not recognize the NCBC category. Students under NCBC are considered under General or EWS.
- A higher focus seems to be given to the Quantitative Aptitude sections.
- The English (Verbal Ability) section had a relatively low cut off of 36 marks, which has surprised many candidates.
- There is some confusion among students whether the cutoff is based on a percentage or raw marks. However, the marks shared in the emails seem to be the actual minimum scores.
- In some cases, students with slightly below threshold marks in one section still received interview calls, possibly because of strong performance in other sections.
This information helps students better understand how IPMAT marks impact IIM Shillong IPM admissions.
