CUET 2026 will be conducted in a computer based test mode only. The question paper medium of CUET UG 2026 is in thirteen Indian languages. Registrations for CUET UG 2026 began early in January 2026 but due to multiple requests for extension from the candidates, NTA has further extended the last date for the submission of CUET registration form to 26th February, 2026. As per the official bulletin, CUET exam pattern 2026 includes objective type MCQs.
Depending on the language selected by the candidate, the question paper pattern will change such that CUET will be in both the English language and the opted language by the applicant. The total subjects in CUET UG 2026 are 37 which includes 13 Indian languages, 23 domain specific subjects, and up to 5 individual subjects. Candidates are permitted to select up to 5 subjects comprising Languages and General Aptitude Test.  Â

CUET Exam Pattern 2026 Online Mode
CUET 2026 will be conducted in the online mode. The application form for CUET UG 2026 is also filled in the online mode. The last date for the online submission of CUET 2026 application form has been extended until 26th February, 2026. Application form submitted in any other mode other than ‘online’ will not be accepted.

CUET Exam Pattern 2026 Question Types
All the questions asked in the CUET 2026 exam will be multiple choice. Students will have to select one correct option from a list of 4 options. If you select an incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted from your total score. For each correct answer, you’ll receive 5 full marks. The CUET question types are of fixed pattern.
