A safe score in IPMAT is scoring above the cutoff such that you don’t worry about a couple of marks later on. In case of IPMAT Indore, you should score a minimum of 60 marks above the cutoff since the IPMAT Indore also has sectional cutoffs. So, only managing to score above the total cutoff is not enough. On the other hand, IPMAT Rohtak doesn’t have sectional cutoffs. Try and secure the maximum marks in order to be safe.
Apart from this, IPMAT Indore’s cutoff varies slightly each year. Don’t make the mistake of basing your preparation solely on the previous year’s cutoff for the ipmat exam.
