CAT Document Upload Guideline – CAT Exam Photo Size, Dimensions and More, Avoid Rejection of Application

As the registration process for CAT has started already, candidates must fill the application form correctly with all important documents. CAT exam photo size should not be more than 80kb in file size. Apart from this, every candidate must ensure that the dimensions of their photograph is also correct. The passport-size photograph to be uploaded in the CAT form must be of approximately 1200 x 1200 pixels. The photograph should be a recent one and a coloured one and it should have a white or light background. The photograph should not be less than 6 months old. The signature to be uploaded in the CAT exam form should be 80mm x 35mm. Aspirants must know all these important details about document uploading to avoid rejection of their CAT application form.

Document Upload Guidelines for CAT 2025

• Scanning of all documents, such as caste certificate, photograph, signature, etc. should be done using a scanner only. Candidates are advised not to use a phone application to scan the document.
• All the documents and self-attested copies should be clearly scanned and it should be visible prominently.
• The signature and photograph should be in .jpg or .jpeg format. It should be within the dimensions of 80mm X 35mm and the resolution should be a minimum of 150px/inch.
• All certificates to be uploaded for CAT 2025 should be uploaded in the PDF format.
• CAT exam photo size should be less than 1 MB and the signature should be less than 80 KB.
• The self-attested scanned copies of all certificates should be less than 200 KB.

• A ball point pen should be used for signature.
• The signature should be scanned with a scanner. Avoid using any mobile app to do this.
• Digital signatures are not accepted. Handwritten signatures should be used.
• The same signature should be used throughout the process.
