IIMA offers financial assistance to all eligible candidates enrolled in its PGP & PGP-FABM courses through the Need-Based Scholarship Scheme. This initiative complements the various scholarships offered by the industry and government. Every year, several students receive financial support under the scheme. The scholarship amount is determined based on various parameters like annual gross family income, ownership of assets, and the number of dependents in the family. The applications for Special Need-Based scholarships are released every year in July/August. Many commercial banks and financial institutions offer educational loans to students. However, they need to submit the proof of family income, the amount of educational loan taken, and the candidate’s past earnings, etc. |
| SC/ST Scholarships | All SC/ST students in the postgraduate programs shall be awarded Rs.150 per month for 10 months. |
| IIMA Exit Scholarships | The Institute offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 for three consecutive years to two students from every batch. This scholarship aims to encourage the graduating students to become entrepreneurs.To encourage students to choose to work with NGOs, the institute offers financial assistance to two students from every batch for three consecutive years. It aims to help them pay their bank loans that they availed for studying in IIMA. The amount of assistance ranges between Rs. 3 to 4 lakhs per year per student. To encourage students to choose doctoral studies in India or abroad, the institute offers a scholarship to two students for three consecutive years.
