IIM Amritsar Selection Criteria Stage 1 – Minimum Cutoff (Pre-Interview Process)
The IIM Amritsar selection criteria for stage 1 considered as the pre-interview process where candidate possess minimum section-wise and overall scores in CAT 2025 as specified in the table mentioned below. Candidates who are having greater than zero across all the sections in CAT exam will only be considered.

IIM Amritsar Selection Criteria Stage 2 – Personal Interview (PI)
The second stage is the evaluation of candidates based on the Personal Interview (PI) and panel assess candidates based on various parameters like academic background, quality of work experience, and other traits that will be taken care by the interview panel of IIM Amritsar.
The Post-PI scores of candidates are the aggregate scores where personal interview percentage will be assessed as 70%, 10% for Work Experience, 10% given to Gender Diversity, and rest 10% to the academic diversity. Both Pre and Post-PI scores to the candidates will be used cumulatively in the final Process.
How it will be calculated?
The final aggregate scores by using both Pre-PI score and Post-PI score is calculated with the help of formula given below.
Aggregate Score = 0.7 X Pre-PI Score + 0.3 X Post-PI Score
