IIM Udaipur (IIMU) has notified that they will independently conduct admissions for its 2-Year MBA course from the 2026-28 batch. IIM Udaipur will step out of the Common Admission Process (CAP) which is run by newer IIMs. Handling admissions on its own will allow IIM Udaipur to:
- Set admission criteria that match IIMU’s academic focus and international perspective.
- Including selection criteria that reflect IIMU’s uniqueness and culture.
- Make admissions simple and student-oriented. Those participating in CAT 2025 will be called for PI and WAT as per IIMU’s shortlist.
These selection rounds will take place in major cities and at the IIMU campus. This will allow students from all over India to attend the process.
