IIT Bombay Fees for UG Students Admitted Through JEE Advanced 2025

For the Autumn Semester, Indian Nationals, including PIO and OCI card holders (issued before March 4, 2023), need to pay Rs 1,23,350, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates have a reduced fee of Rs 23,350. Foreign nationals are required to pay Rs 3,23,350. The IIT Bombay hostel fee remains the same for all categories at Rs 16,900. Students who have already paid the seat acceptance fee (excluding JoSAA processing charges of Rs 5,000) will have this amount deducted. For Indian nationals and foreign nationals, the deduction is Rs 30,000, whereas SC, ST, and PwD candidates get a deduction of Rs 12,500. After these deductions, the balance fees payable are Rs 1,10,250 for Indian nationals, Rs 27,750 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and Rs 3,10,250 for foreign nationals. IIT Bombay Fees Schedule For New Admission (Autumn Semester)

The fee payment process for new entrants is similar to that of on-roll students. However, you must refer to your offer letters for details on any fee adjustments due to seat acceptance or processing charges. Candidates admitted through JEE Advanced 2025 must pay their fees according to the following schedule:

IIT Bombay Fee Payment Process

All students, including those paying via bank loans or sponsoring agencies, must use IIT Bombay’s online portal: https://portal.iitb.ac.in/asc. The instructions for online payments are available on the ASC homepage. Students must note that payments above Rs 1,00,000 should be made using methods other than UPI due to daily transaction limits.

IIT Bombay Fees Payment For Students Paying Through Bank Loan/Sponsorship/NEFT

The fee payment process is as follows: 

• Generate the official fee demand letter from the ASC portal.
• The demand letter is valid for 10 days, and fees must be transferred within this time.
• After payment, enter the UTR number and other details on the portal.
• Students relying on a sponsoring agency should initiate payment at least 15 days before the deadline to account for bank processing time.

IIT Bombay Fee Receipts
