Perform your Duties & Detach yourself from the outcomes. I advice you against seeing yourself as the cause of outcomes but surely the cause of inaction.
There’s a difference between war and battle.
A battle is a limited conflict and you have to win multiple battles to win a war.
Your war was to get to a top B School. A lot many colleges you get through cat exam but a few good one’s through XAT as well.
There are three options now.
A. CAT Exam went well – Prepare for GDPI & XAT.
B. CAT did not go well – Prepare for XAT & Omets even more intensively.
C. CAT did not go well – but you always dreamt of going to IIMs and anything other than that will feel like a failure. ( Not rational, but a few people do feel this)
Join this free CAT community group to get the post CAT exam analysis, GDPI guidance, your CAT score predictor, IIM predictor and SOP Reviewer to get ready for your B-School preparation journey.

Losing a battle is tough, but you can always mount more battles. You can either think of omets as the final redemption or you can think of it as the start of another war. 1 more year of battle with xat as a starting point or xat as the final frontier.
Hundreds of students who did not score well in cat did great in XAT and are now in top colleges.
I am with you all along the way, and will announce something for all the aspirants in a while.
Don’t get overwhelmed now, you never know what’s in store. I have seen all this for many years. Just Chin up soldier.
P.S – You run out of time or you give up. You never really lose a game.
