The JAP Stage 1 Calls are finally out! Aspirants who have selected IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, or IIM Tiruchirappalli in the CAT 2025 form and meet the minimum academic and CAT 2025-related eligibility criteria will receive an email invitation for JAP 2026 registration. It is mandatory to register online upon the release of CAT 2025 results and receipt of the invitation email from JAP 2026. Those who complete online registration will be considered for Step 2 of JAP 2026. It is a compulsory pre-interview registration process, not an interview call. Applicants will not be allowed to participate in the further process if they do not register within the deadline. Based on the CAT 2025 scores, all registered aspirants will be shortlisted from this pool to participate in the PI. JAP Calls Out 2026: Details and Documents Required for JAP 2026 Registration
Candidates should upload all the relevant documents in the prescribed format in the JAP registration form. This includes a photograph, signature, etc. The maximum size of the file shall be 500 KB. The following details and documents are required for JAP Registration 2026:
- Photograph: Scanned copy of your latest passport-size photo.
- Signature: Scanned copy of your signature within the dimensions of 80mm X 35 mm
- Image Quality: The images of the photograph and signature should be clear with a minimum resolution of 150px/inch
- Photo Identity Card Document: Only Government of India-issued ID proof, such as Aadhar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, and Passport
- CAT 2025 scorecard: Download from the CAT website and upload the PDF.

JAP Stage 1 Calls Out 2026: How to Register for JAP 2026?
All the eligible candidates should carefully read the admission policy. They must submit only correct details at each stage of JAP 2026. They must fill out the applications with all the required academic and personal details. Wrong information shall lead to disqualification from the admission process at any stage. Applicants should select three different cities (in order of preference) to participate in the PI. Here is the step-by-step guide for the JAP 2026 registration form.
- Visit the official JAP 2026 website, jap2026.iimraipur.edu.in.
- Log in with your CAT Registration Number and Password shared on your registered email address.
- Next, click on the “My Application” link.
- Read the instructions carefully and select the checkbox to confirm.
- Next, click the “Save and Continue” button.
- Fill out the application form with the required information.
- Next, upload your Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format.
- Enter all your educational details and work experience.
- Choose your Centre Preference carefully from the given options.
- Next, preview your application form carefully.
- Lastly, select the declaration checkbox and hit the Save button to submit your application.
Note: Upon the final submission, you will get a confirmation email for the successful completion of your JAP 2026 registration process.

No. There shall be no registration fee for JAP 2026.
What’s Next After JAP Stage 1 Calls Out?
Step 2 of JAP is applicable to aspirants who have completed their online registration after receiving the JAP 2026 email invitation. A category-wise shortlist (GEN, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, PwD) will be prepared based on the CAT 2025 scores for the Personal Interview (PI) process. Category-wise cutoff percentiles will be published later on the official JAP 2026 portal.
Candidates will receive details of the PI date, time, and venue via email. This information will also be accessible on the JAP 2026 portal through your login credentials. Candidates will be required to submit originals of all certificates for verification at the time of PI. Documents will be related to academic/reservation/work experience/professional. If a candidate fails to submit any relevant documents, they will face disqualification from participating in the PI processes. After STEP 2 (PI) is over, individual IIMs will prepare the merit list for MBA admissions. The admissions offers will be provided in the order of merit based on the Government’s reservation policy.
