2. When will the JEE (Main) 2026 Examination be held?

Ans. The tentative dates for Session 1 are between 21 January and 30 January 2026. Session 2 will be held between 02 April and 09 April 2026. 

3. Do applicants have to fill out a separate application form for every session?

Ans. Yes, candidates need to apply for JEE Main 2026 separately for every session. The application for Session 1 is currently open. The application date for Session 2 will be released later.

4. Can applicants appear in only one session, or do they have to participate in both sessions?

Ans. It is the choice of applicants. They may participate in both sessions if they desire. If they appear in both sessions, the best of their JEE (Main) 2026 NTA scores will be counted when preparing the merit list/ranking.

5. Will calculators be allowed during the JEE Main 2026 exam?

Ans. No. The calculators in any form are not allowed in the JEE (Main) 2026 exam.

6. Are DigiLocker Documents valid?

Ans. Yes. Documents stored in DigiLocker can be uploaded in the applications.

7. During Aadhaar verification, what should the applicant do if they do not get the OTP for verification?

Ans. You will receive the OTP at the mobile number registered with Aadhaar. You need to make sure that the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is active and can be accessed.

8. Is APAAR ID mandatory? 

No. APAAR ID is not mandatory as per the JEE Main 2026 FAQs PDF file.

9. If the live photograph does not match the photo on the Aadhaar Card, will it lead to the rejection of the JEE Main applications?

Ans. NTA will review all such mismatches. If major discrepancies are found, the applicants will be contacted via email or text message. 

10. Is it compulsory to upload the Category Certificate?

Ans. No, the category certificate is not required in the JEE Main 2026 form. Instead, you can fill out details like Certificate Number, Date of issue, and Issuing authority. 

11. How are the JEE Main 2026 exam dates and slots selected?

Ans. The Date, Shift and Slot of the JEE Main 2026 are assigned randomly by the computer.

12. Can an applicant cancel the JEE Main 2026 online form after submission?

Ans. No. You cannot cancel or withdraw the JEE Main 2026 form after submission.

13. If the applicant does not receive an admit card, whom should they contact?
