CLAT Colleges Seat Allotment Process
The CLAT allotment process involves multiple stages. After clearing the paper if the candidate is satisfied with their marks and the allotted college they can opt for the freeze option and pay a nominal fee of 20000/- to confirm their seat. After this, they will have to pay the remaining university fees. In other cases, if the candidate is dissatisfied with the allotted college and wants to continue in the counselling process to get a better preference they can choose the float option. However in this case the candidate must pay the confirmation fees for the allotted seat. If in a subsequent round, the candidate gets a higher preference they can switch to that NLU. Otherwise, the candidate can anytime exit the process via the EXIT option.
