The NEET exam 2025 has been concluded successfully. More than 12,00,000 candidates have qualified for the exam. Since the paper was difficult this year, the cutoffs have dropped. 686 marks were the highest scored by a candidate named Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan. As a result the NEET cutoff for the general category students was lowered to 686-144. 

Uttar Pradesh is the top performing state followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan. About 1,25,000 students qualified from Maharashtra. Total NEET qualifiers from Rajasthan were 1,19,865. Based on the gender wise NEET 2025 result statistics, 58% students out of the total qualifiers are female students. About 42% of qualifiers were male and only 6 trans students qualified the exam. 

About 11,00,000 total number of general candidates scoring between 686-144 marks will be eligible for admission into top medical colleges in India. Students belonging to the OBC category must score between 143-113 marks to be eligible for admissions. The cutoff for PwD OBC/SC/ST students is between 126-113 marks. NEET toppers 2025 are from 3 states, UP, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.
