The NEET UG paper which was divided into 4 sets. Code 45, 46, 47, and 48. Students appeared for the exam in different exam centre locations such as Delhi, Pune, Indore, Chennai, etc. NEET exam in 2025 was not held in a proper manner. Students are raising more complaints above the existing ongoing cases.  As per a recent Time of India newspaper publication, it has been reported that NEET test takers from Sikar and Gujarat test centres faced multiple issues while writing the exam. In Sikar, students have reported jumbled question page numbers in the test booklet of NEET 2025 Code 47.

Issues Faced in Gujarat NEET Paper

In Gujarat, on the other hand, several students have reported receiving faulty NEET UG 2025 test booklets. Students taking the NEET 2025 exam in the Jamnagar test centre in Gujarat received the NEET Paper Code 48 in a jumbled sequence. Such a discrepancy misled students to believe that for instance Question 7 was incorrect as it was followed by a Question 15. 

Similarly, as documented earlier, the about 11 NEET exam centres in Indore were affected from power cuts causing difficulties in attempting the paper. Due to this reason the results for 75 students are withheld while for the remaining 8790 students, the NEET results will be announced.

Implications of the Errors in NEET Question Paper

Students who took the NEET UG exam in the Sikar and Gujarat regions faced issues with the alignment of the test booklet pages and the out-of-syllabus questions. Issues in the NEET exam caused the students to write the exam in a chaotic environment which may impact their scores.

Time Management Issues in NEET Exam

In the NEET exam, students faced issues with the management of time. It was because these students were given a question paper with out-off-syllabus questions and misaligned pages. The misleading and difficult questions led to a delay in figuring out how to proceed ahead.

In response to the issues raised above by the NEET candidates, NTA chose to remain silent on the Sikar and Gujarat issue. To add to the ongoing anxiety among the students, NTA further claimed that all the questions in the NEET UG Question Paper Codes 45, 46, 47, and 48 were from the prescribed syllabus.

Difficulties Faced by the Students 

After all is said and done, there is no proper adjudication or hearing of the issues raised by the students in the NEET exam paper. In Indore, the results of 75 students are being withheld on account of the difficulties faced in writing the exam. Similarly, with the Sikar and Gujarat test centres, students have raised complaints with the government and await grievance redressal.
