Admission at IIM is offered based on CAT exam and for most of the IIMs you simply have to submit the application form of CAT for admission. The same form is considered for admission except for a few IIM. Admission seekers have to submit separate application forms for IIMs like IIM Rohtak, IIM Mumbai, IIM Amritsar, IIM Vizag and IIM Raipur. They have a separate application fee to be paid once you clear the cutoff. Amongst the list of CAT colleges with separate application form, IIM Mumbai does not charge any fee for the same. The other colleges charge a form fee as well. IIM Amritsar, IIM Vizag, IIM Raipur form fees is Rs 1000 whereas the fee for IIM Rohtak is Rs 3095. What is the Fee for IIMs That Needs Separate Application Form?
Although a separate application form is required for IIM Mumbai admission, it does not charge any application fee. All other IIMs except IIM Rohtak charge Rs 1000 as an application fee. IIM Rohtak application fee for MBA is Rs 3095. Check the IIM application form fees here.

IIM Application Form Dates
The application form of IIMs needs to be filled and submitted by admission seekers once they have met the cutoff of that particular IIM. What After IIM Application Form?
Once a candidate meets the CAT qualifying criteria candidates have to apply separately for the IIMs that has been stated above and then here are the following things that takes place:
- Shortlisting candidates based on WAT-GD-PI – All shortlisted candidates have to appear for WAT-GD-PI. Candidates have to qualify these rounds to get into the final admission list.
- Final Selection based on profile, CAT scores and WAT GD PI – Final shortlisting is done based on various criteria such as academic proficiency, work experience of the candidate, diversity, CAT scores, and performance in WAT-GD-PI.
- Admission Offer to Selected Candidates – All shortlisted candidates are offered the final admission at IIM.

Separate Application Form for IIMs – FAQs
Separate application forms for IIMs have to be filled for only a few IIMs such as IIM Rohtak, IIM Mumbai , IIM Amritsar, IIM Visakhapatnam and IIM Raipur. For all other IIMs there is no requirement of a separate application.
