JEE Main Registration 2026 Starts

The JEE Main Registration 2026 has begun online on October 31, 2025. All the eligible candidates can fill out JEE Main online form till November 27, 2025 (Up to 9:00 pm). The application process involves various steps. This includes registration, login, filling out the form, uploading documents, fee payment, etc. Candidates should ensure they upload all the required documents in the prescribed format. However, the NTA allows candidates to make corrections in specific details of the online JEE application form 2026. The Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2026 will take place in two sessions. Documents Required for JEE Main Registration 2026

Applicants will be required to upload certain documents, like a photograph, signature, and certificates, in the JEE Main application form 2026. If candidates fail to submit the required documents, their applications will be considered incomplete. The list of documents required for JEE Main Registration 2026 is as follow:

  • Candidate’s Passport-size Photograph: It should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears in the white background. This document must be in JPG/JPEG format between 10 kb to 200 kb.
  • Signature: It must be in JPG/JPEG format between 10 kb to 100 kb.
  • Scanned copy of Class X or Equivalent Certificate/Marks-sheet: It should be in PDF between 50 kb to 300 kb.
  • Scanned copy of Identity Proof for those applicants who will verify their identities through methods other than Aadhaar or DigiLocker. It must be in format JPG/JPEG between 10 kb to 200 kb.
  • Scanned copy of Disability/UDID certificate: It should be in PDF format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
  • Aadhaar Card: It should be updated with the correct name, date of birth, latest photograph, address and father’s name. 
  • UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities): It should be valid, up to date and renewed as required. 
  • Category Certificate: The category certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) must be up to date and valid

The JEE Main application process is divided into various stages. It involves registration form, application form, fee payment, and final submission.   • Go to the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click the “New Registration” tab.
  • Register for the online JEE application form 2026. Enter all the asked details like a valid Email ID, mobile number, etc and submit them. 
  • Thereafter, you need to create a password and choose a Security Question and enter your answer.
  • After submitting personal details, an application number will be generated. It will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the JEE Main Application Form 2026.

  • Log in with the valid Application Number and Password.

  • Thereafter, upload the images and documents in the prescribed format. This includes scanned copy of Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, Class X or Equivalent Certificate/Marks-sheet and Identity Proof (wherever applicable) and PwD/PwBD/UDID Certificate (wherever applicable).

Fee Payment for JEE Main Registration 2026

  • After completing all the above steps, candidates will have to pay the application fees. They can pay the JEE Main application fees through online mode. 
  • They can use the Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI to make the fee payment for JEE Main 2026. 
  • After paying the application fees, candidates will be required to print the Confirmation Page for future reference.
