In the first stage, exceptional performers are shortlisted from different categories (AC-1 to AC-5) which is considered as Composite Scores (CS) where 65% weightage is given to the CAT 2025 scores and 35% weightage given to the past academic records.
The final selection is based on a Final Composite Score (FCS), which considers multiple dimensions of a candidate’s profile. The Personal Interview carries the highest weight (50%), followed by CAT score (25%), Application Rating (15%), and AWT (10%). Selection is done category-wise in accordance with reservation norms, ensuring fairness and diversity.
The Final Composite Score (FCS) is calculated as:
FCS = PIF * Normalised PI Score + AWTF * Normalised AWT Score + CATF_FCS * Normalised CAT Score + ARF_FCS * Normalised AR Score
where, PIF is Personal Interview Multiplication Factor, AWTF is AWT Multiplication Factor, CATF_FCS is CAT Score Multiplication Factor for Final Composite Score and ARF_FCS is Application Rating Multiplication Factor for Final Composite Score.
