- Carry the Required Documents:
You must ensure that you carry the following documents without fail. They are the BITSAT 2025 admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and two recent passport-size photographs.
BITSAT 2025 Admit Card: You should not wait till the exam day to download the admit card. Make two photocopies just in case one gets damaged or misplaced. Ensure that the BITSAT 2025 admit card printout is clear. The photograph and details must be visible as well.
Recent Passport Size Photograph: You need to carry two passport-size photos that match the one uploaded during registration. You need to paste one photograph in the admit card, and the other will be required at the time of attendance marking or verification.
Valid Photo ID Proof: You need to carry a valid photo ID proof. Bring one original and one photocopy of any of the following – Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, and School ID with photo (if valid).
- Reporting Time and Entry Guidelines
You need to report at least 45-60 minutes before the BITSAT 2025 exam start time. The exam time is mentioned on your admit card. The entry gates to the examination hall will close 30 minutes before the exam, and no candidates will be allowed entry after the given time. There will be 2-3 verification rounds. The first verification of the admit card, ID proof, and biometric data will be done at the gate.
- Know the Dress Code
BITS has not imposed any strict dress code however, candidates should prefer simple clothes for quick security checking and frisking. It is recommended to wear light coloured topwear and simple bottomwear. Slippers or sandals are preferred, and candidates must avoid shoes with metal parts or thick soles. Also, a few items must be avoided at all times. It includes jewellery, metal accessories, caps, belts, smartwatches, full sleeves with cuffs or heavy embroidery, and layered clothing.
- Do Not Take Any Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Hall
As a BITSAT 2025 candidates, you will not be allowed inside the examination hall, if you carry electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, bluetooth devices, etc; stationery items like pens, pencils, erasers, geometry boxes, etc; and personal items like wallets, handbags, BITSAT books, subject notes, snacks, or coloured water bottles. If any such prohibited items are found, you may be debarred from appearing in the examination hall.
- Know the Rules Inside the Exam Hall
You’ll be assigned a computer system; ensure it works before you begin and make sure the seat is allotted to you. You’ll also get a rough sheet from the invigilator. Write your roll number and password in one corner of the sheet. Once the exam has started, go through the instructions thoroughly. You can switch between questions and sections and use the “Mark for Review” option. Do not talk, gesture, or look around unnecessarily. Maintain proper decorum.
- BITSAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam will continue for 3 hours. The paper will consist of four subjects- Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology. The total number of questions asked is 130 with +3 marks awarded for every correct answer and -1 for every incorrect answer. If you finish the main paper early, you can attempt 12 bonus questions (4 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology), but only if you’ve attempted all 130 original questions.
BITSAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: After the Exam
- Do not attempt to take any rough sheets or notes out of the hall.
- You’ll get your score immediately on the screen once the exam ends.
- Note it down or take a screenshot (if allowed), but the official result will also be released online.
