GMAT Exam Scoring Pattern: Score Range, Percentiles & Validity
The GMAT Focus Edition total score ranges between 205–805 (all values end in 5). The score range for each of the three sections ranges from 60 to 90. A score of 645 in GMAT Focus Edition represents around 96th to 87th percentile. The scores from GMAT is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of exam. What is GMAT Marking Scheme?Â
The GMAT does not have negative marking. Important points to be noted with regard to the GMAT marking scheme are as follows:
- No penalty for incorrect answers.
- Not answering a questions can impact your score negatively
- Every question should be attempted before the section ends.
It is advised that the candidates should focus on maintaining both accuracy and pacing throughout the exam.
Can You Change the Section Order in GMAT Exam?
