IIM Ahmedabad result 2025 was released on 16th April 2025. A delightful moment for all selected candidates who got their dream IIM, the top number one B-school in the country. However, some candidates missed the final admission letter and are now awaiting the IIM Ahmedabad waitlist movement. The good news is that the FMS result 2024 was released on 21st April, 2025, and some candidates may opt for FMS over IIM Ahmedabad for the lower fees. This means some candidates still have a chance to get admission into IIM Ahmedabad. Looking back, a total of 10 and 39 students withdrew their applications from IIM Ahmedabad in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Candidates must note that waitlist movement happens only when a candidate withdraws their application from the college. IIM Ahmedabad Waitlist Movement
IIM Ahmedabad is the dream B-school for almost all CAT aspirants, but somehow, some students withdraw their application from the admission process. The first reason is the high fees, which some can’t afford even with a loan, and look out for low-fees top colleges like FMS Delhi and IIT Bombay. The second reason is that some find IIM Ahmedabad relatively harder to study in and score high marks in comparison to other IIMs. As of now, the IIM Ahmedabad waitlist movement for 2024 has not been officially released. However, in 2022, around 10 candidates reportedly withdrew their admissions, offering hope to waitlisted candidates this year for a possible conversion.
