How to Download the JEE Advanced 2025 Response Sheet?
Step | Description |
Step 1 | Go to the official website of JEE Advanced – jeeadv.ac.in. |
Step 2 | On the homepage, find and click on the link labeled “JEE Advanced 2025 Response Sheet”. This link will be activated once the response sheets are released. |
Step 3 | A login window will appear. Enter your JEE Advanced 2025 credentials (such as Application Number, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number) to log in. |
Step 4 | After successfully logging in, you will be able to view and download your individual response sheet from the dashboard. This sheet contains your recorded answers to the exam questions. |
How to Estimate Your JEE Advanced 2025 Score with the Response Sheet
1. Download Your Response Sheet
- Log in to the official JEE Advanced portal using your application number and other credentials.
- Download and save your response sheet for reference.
2. Obtain the Official Answer Key
- After releasing the response sheets, IIT will publish the official JEE Advanced 2025 answer key.
- Download the answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 corresponding to your question paper set.
3. Match Your Response with Official Answers
- Go through your response sheet and compare each of your marked answers with the correct answers provided in official answer key.
- Mark each question as correct, incorrect, or unattempted.
4. Understand the Marking Scheme
- JEE Advanced uses a section- wise marking scheme which may include:
- Full Marks for a correct answer ( eg +3, +4)
- Partial Marks for partially correct multiple select answers
- Negative Marks for incorrect answers (Eg,-1)
- Zero Marks for unattempted questions
- Refer to the official question paper instructions or information brochure to understand the exact marking for each section.
5. Calculate Section-Wise Scores
- For each section (Physcis, Chemistry, Mathematics in both Paper 1 and Paper 2), calculate your score using marking scheme.
- Multiply the number of correct answers by the marks awarded per correct answer.
- Subtract the penalty marks for wrong answers (if applicable)
- Add partial marks wherever possible.
6. Add up Total Score
Combine your scores from all the sections and both papers to get your total estimated score out of 360 ( as per year’s pattern).
7. Compare with Previous Year Cutoffs (Optional)
You can compare your estimated score with previous years’ cutoffs for various IITs and branches to understand your standing.
