NBSAT is a national level MBA entrance exam which stands for NARAYANA BUSINESS SCHOOL APTITUDE TEST conducted by NARAYANA BUSINESS SCHOOL every year in two phases for admission in their specialised MBA and PGDM programs. NBS conducts its own national level entrance exam NBSAT, post clearing cut off, students are required to come up with an SOP followed by a Personal interview (PI. After qualifying, students can take admission in their MBA + PGPCE, PGDM – Data Science & Analytics program, PGDM Quantitative Finance and other targeted programs.

NBSAT Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates from Recognized University: Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university.
- Minimum Aggregate Score: Candidates need to have at least 60% aggregate in 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
- Eligibility for Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply, even if they are awaiting results.
- Specific Requirement for PGDM Data Science and Analytics: Preferably should have studied Math/Statistics in Class XII. Having a bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Application, or Statistics would be an added advantage.
- Specific Requirement for PGDM in Quantitative Finance: Preferably should have studied Math/Statistics in Class XII. Having a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics.
NBSAT Exam Pattern
The purpose of the NBSAT is to assess a candidate’s proficiency in quantitative methods, data interpretation and sufficiency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and analytical thinking.
Candidates have two hours to finish the exam. There will be multiple choice questions in the paper. The paper can be solved without receiving a negative mark. There are a total of 100 questions in the paper.

How to Register for NBSAT?
- Visit Application Portal: NBS Applications Portal (applications.nbs.edu.in)
- Initiate Registration: Click on the “Register” button.
- Provide Basic Information: Enter your name, email ID, phone number, State, City, and the desired Course for registration.
- Access Application Form: Use the link sent to your registered email to access the application form.
- Select Preferred Courses: Choose your preferred courses during the application process.
- Fill Personal and Academic Details: Complete the application form with your personal and academic information as required.
- Upload Documents: Upload a passport-sized photograph and your scanned signature.
- Complete Payment: Pay the application fee using Payment Gateways like UPI, credit/debit card, or through net banking.

NBSAT 2024 Results
The results of NBSAT and the students selected thereon are communicated via email. Also, while applying for NBSAT, each student has its own unique Login to the admission portal. The students can easily login to their portal and check the status of their NBSAT result.

Admission Process at NBS
- Register for NBSAT: Candidates must first register for the Narayana Business School Aptitude Test (NBSAT).
- Submit Statement of Purpose (SoP): Along with the application, candidates are required to submit a Statement of Purpose for their chosen program.
- Qualify for NBSAT: Candidates need to take and qualify the NBSAT exam.
- Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who qualify in the NBSAT will be called for a Personal Interview.
- Shortlisting for Programs: The shortlisting for each program is based on the candidate’s cumulative NBSAT score.
- Mandatory SOP and PI: Submission of the SOP and participation in the Personal Interview are compulsory for eligibility for admission.
- Final Selection: The final selection for admission is based on the SOP submission, NBSAT results, and Personal Interview performance.
- Admission Confirmation: Admission will be confirmed upon fee payment by the specified deadline and subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for the respective program(s) as per NBS regulations.
