From Struggling for Mocks to IIM Bangalore Conversion (99.99%iler)
Coming from a mathematical background, he initially had a very simplified and, quite frankly, distorted idea of the CAT examination. He was of the impression this is a maths-dominated exam where he won’t have any difficulty getting a decent score. VARC, too, in his mind, would be something of a passage-based QnA with a higher level than he did in school. However, things changed drastically once he gave his first mock examination.

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension was a real mess for the topper when he started his preparation. Initially he was little unaware and simply not ready for the kind of reasoning and understanding that he needed to attempt even one of the questions. For him, the preparation itself had its highs and lows. From days scoring 120s in mocks to merely getting one RC right, it was a roller coaster. The lowest points were even lower. Overthinking, stress, anxiety and a million other things in mind; what kept him motivated was always trying to see the bright side. Friends and families also motivated me to do my best.
