IPM Interview Transcript 1(IIM Rohtak)

2 panelists (One woman ,1 Man)

They asked me to show my id( aadhar card)

Asked me to introduce myself

I told them my name, grades, state, my interests and hobbies and interest in Feminism.

He immediately asked me the definition of feminism followed by the questions of women athletes who got medals in Olympics.

He: so u come from Andhra Pradesh right?

Me: yes sir

He : whats the idea behind the 3 capitals?

Me: sir it is to ensure uniform development of the state

He: is the proposal of 3 capitals approved?

Me: no sir not yet

He; which rivers flow through your state

Me: the main rivers are krishna and godavari

He: in which year did the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh happen?

Me: sir in the year 2014

He: can you name the seven sister states

Me: answered it

He : can you name their capitals

Me : sir I'm unable to recall but the capital of Nagaland is kohima

He : okay that's all from my side

Now came the most deadliest part

She : in which part of chemistry did u use the concept of differentiation?

Me: in chemical kinetics

She : whats the rate of reaction at equilibrium

Me: mam the rate of forward and backward reaction is same

She : ok so now I'll give you a differential equation

Me: ok mam

She:gave a difficult question

Me: tried to solve but failed

She : gave 2 coordinates and asked to find the equation of line

Me : did that

She : what is the degree of a polynomial

Me: highest power

She: and what about degree of a quadratic equation?

Me : 2
