IPMAT Indore 2027 Application Form: How to Apply Online?
Candidates keen on applying for IPMAT Indore 2027 exam can fill out the online form once the forms have been released online. Such candidates should keep the required documents ready with themselves as they will be required while filling out the online form. Given below are the steps to apply online for IPMAT 2027 exam.
- Filling out IPMAT application form: Visit the official website of IIM Indore and click on the IPM program page and then click on the registration link.
- Registration by Creating ID and Password: Proceed by creating a registration ID and password for future use. A confirmation mail will be sent on the registered email.
- Fill in your Personal Details: After successful registration, log in to the portal again and fill up details such as name, address, exam centre choice, etc.
- Upload Documents and Complete Payment: Lastly, upload the mandatory documents in their respective section.
- Fee Payment: Once all the steps have been completed, candidates must pay the required amount of application fee for the application form to be accepted.

IPMAT Indore Eligibility Criteria 2027: Age Limit & Qualification
Candidates willing to apply online for IIM IPMAT 2027 exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by IIM Indore. This includes fulfilling the IPMAT Indore age limit and educational qualification. The details are given below.
Age Limit: Candidate should be born on or after August 01, 2006 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 2001).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed their class 12th/HSC or equivalent from a recognised board in 2025, 2026 or appearing in 2027.
IPMAT Indore 2027 Selection Process
The selection process for IPMAT Indore is based on the candidate’s overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will have to appear for both these stages to be shortlisted.
IPMAT Indore Exam Pattern
The IPMAT Indore exam pattern consists of three sections to test the candidate’s aptitude skills. This tests assess a candidate’s quantitative aptitude and verbal ability skills. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours), with each section having a fixed time limit of 40 minutes. Here are the details regarding the marking scheme for IPMAT Indore exam.
- Each question carries 4 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. However, the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section will not carry any negative marking.
- All the questions are objective in nature.
- Candidates need to answer the sections in a pre-specified order and this order will remain the same for all the candidates.

IPMAT Indore does not have a separate Logical Reasoning (LR) section, however, there is a section named verbal ability. It tests a candidate’s Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation (DI) skills. Questions from this section assess a student’s analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, data analysis skills, and decision-making aptitude. To achieve good marks in this section, candidates must focus on practicing puzzles, arrangements, graphs, charts, and caselet-based questions.
