CUET Syllabus is difficult to grasp at first because of various variables. There are three sections in the exam. Section I is the Language in which you can take English, Hindi, or any other regional language of your choice, Section II relates to Domain Subjects and Section III relates to the General Aptitude section. For securing admission in most universities the domain subjects and class 12th subjects should be the same.

CUET Arts/Humanities Subject Combinations

There are over 30+ subjects in this exam, the Arts/Humanities candidates get confused as to which subject to choose to get into a particular Course or University. The same course may have different eligibility criteria in different Universities, For example, if a candidate wants to pursue a B. A.(Hons) at Delhi University, the candidate has to take the exam in Any one from Section I (Language) + Any three from Section II (Domain Subjects) and on the other hand if you want to pursue the same course in Banaras Hindu University, a student needs to take the exam in Section I (Language) – Either in Hindi or English + Section III (General Test) for the admission in BHU. As you can see it gets confusing for the students to decide how to take the exam. So, we formulated the Best Combination of subjects for the Humanities/Arts students that targets most of the Universities and Courses:-

1 Language + 3/4 Domain Subjects + General Test
Note- For some courses, the University may demand to take some particular domain subject in the exam to fulfill the eligibility criteria of that course. For example, to pursue the B. A. Economics (Hons.) course at Delhi University a student must take Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in domain subjects to be considered for admissions.
Most Universities demand that the domain subjects and the class 12th subjects should be same.
