How Did Sameer Start CAT Preparation & What’s the Motivation?

Talking about his background, he has graduated from NIT and is a 9/9/7 profile guy. His journey for the CAT exam preparation begins when he gets laid off from Infosys in March 2025 in a firing spree. Holding more than 21 months of experience and now having a clear vision on how he wants to build his career. Sameer decided to go for an MBA after his father’s suggestion. 

Now, post getting a clear direction, Sameer has started looking for a practice batch since he wants to prepare for the Common Admission Test by practising CAT-level questions only. In addition, he mentions how he wanted to go for only one material because he lost marks during his JEE preparation when preparing with 3 books and a tonne of online material.

Sameer’s Advice to Other Aspirants

Sameer advised that consistent practice is the key to success, following only one or limited material and completing it. Second, attempt mock tests early and continue with it. You can be afraid of scoring low, but it doesn’t improve until you try it.
