About IIM Bodh Gaya IPM

Introduced in the year 2021, the IPM (5 year Integrated Program in Management) programme at IIM Bodh Gaya is a cross-disciplinary management programme that has a blended course of management studies from under-graduate to Postgraduate. The first three years of the IPM program focuses on foundation courses whereas, the second segment focuses on management courses.

The IPM program is offered to students who have graduated from 12th/Higher Secondary or equivalent. The IPM programme at IIM Bodh Gaya can be categorised in two segments.

Eligibility Criteria

For a candidate to be able to appear for IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), he/she must meet the following eligibility criteria. 

  • Age: Candidate should be not be over 20 years of age.
  • Qualification: The candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination.
  • Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: The candidate should have a Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category)

Selection Procedure

The IIM Bodhgaya IPM program selection procedure is twofold and is based on a candidate’s overall performance in JIPMAT and evaluation of past academic records.

Fold 1: The interested candidates will first have to qualify for JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency (NTA).)

Fold 2: Only the candidates shortlisted through JIPMAT will proceed to the second stage, i.e., personal interview (PI)

Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection and a category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS)

Exam Pattern

  • JIPMAT is conducted in online mode.
  • The duration of JIPMAT is 150 minutes

Note: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions.

Note: Apart from the stipulated reservation norms by GoI, 10 seats will be reserved by female students.
