IIM Indore released its IPMAT 2026 result in May, 2026 on its official website – iimidr.ac.in. Candidates can check their results as well as the minimum cutoff percentile for each section by logging in the provided result link on the IIM Indore homepage.
Steps to Check IPMAT Indore 2026 Result
Here is the step by step guide to check your IPMAT Indore 2026 scores:
Step 1: Go to the official website – iimidr.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the “Admissions” section or a direct “Results” link in the form of a notification banner.
Step 3: Click on “IPM Admissions 2026- Result / PI Shortlist”
Step 4: A login page will open.
Step 5: Enter the following details: Your IPMAT 2026 Application Number and your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)/ Registered Email ID
Step 6: Enter the Captcha code displayed on screen
Step 7: Click on “Submit”
Step 8: Your result will be displayed on screen showing whether you are shortlisted for PI or not, your section-wise scores and your ATS (Aptitude Test Score

IPMAT Indore 2026 Exam Overview: Difficulty and Pattern
The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam carries a total of 360 marks and is divided into three sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude: Short Answer (QA SA): 15 questions × 4 marks = 60 marks (No negative marking)
- Quantitative Aptitude: MCQ (QA MCQ): 30 questions × 4 marks = 120 marks (–1 for wrong answers)
- Verbal Ability: MCQ (VA MCQ): 45 questions × 4 marks = 180 marks (–1 for wrong answers)
MANDATORY CRITERION: You must clear all three sectional cutoffs independently. Even a high overall score cannot compensate for missing the minimum in any single section.

What is Aptitude Test Score (ATS)?
Candidates who clear all three sectional cutoffs are assigned an Aptitude Test Score (ATS). It is the metric IIM Indore actually uses to rank and shortlist candidates for PI.
ATS Formula:
ATS Score = (Candidate’s Score / Maximum Score) × 100
The ATS is calculated section-wise, and only candidates who meet all sectional minimums are included in this pool. A higher ATS directly increases your chances of receiving a PI call.
IPM Indore Selection Criteria 2026
IIM Indore’s IPM programme selection process has two stages:
Stage 1: Aptitude Test (IPMAT)
All candidates sit the IPMAT. Only those clearing all sectional cutoffs are eligible for PI shortlisting. The shortlisted pool typically ranges from 800 to 2,000+ candidates, narrowed down from 20,000+ applicants.
Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI)
Shortlisted candidates appear for an in-person PI conducted by IIM Indore faculty. The panel evaluates communication skills, academic background, analytical thinking, and overall personality.
